COURSE DESCRIPTION

 

The curriculum of art is designed to teach the four components of art education: Aesthetics, Production,

 Criticism, and History. These components are integrated into units that emphasize and are classified
 according to different types of art production activities, such as Drawing, Painting and Sculpture. The
 units are organized in a comprehensive sequential manner. The sequence begins with Aesthetics and Art
 Criticism as a way of teaching students what to look for and how to look for it, emphasizing experience
 with a variety of media.

10. Color theory
