EXPERIENCE LIFE IN 4TH GRADE LANGUAGE ARTS!! Reading and Writing are major parts of our everyday lives in this classroom. We are focused and set on a productive year of new discovery & learning!! My 4th graders are full of excitement and desire to learn. We are learning fabulous new ways to “spice” up our writing with DIMPLES! Similes, Vivid Verbs, OH MY!! Right now, these are the topic of class discussions! We’ve learned Onomatopoeia, Dialogue, and Elaboration! Ask your child to tell you about some of these things! Man, would they love to tell you!! Reading is more fun than ever when novel units are involved. Small group guided reading plays a part in this classroom! This helps build our fluency when reading!! |
