Barbers Hill is
excited to announce the creation of a Curriculum
and Instruction Department. Sandra Duree who
has been the Principal of Barbers Hill
Elementary for the past two years will lead the
new department as Assistant Superintendent of
Curriculum and Instruction. Assisting Mrs.
Duree will be Cindy Price in the capacity of
Director of Secondary Curriculum. Cindy had
been the Principal of Barbers Hill Middle School
for the past seven years and she has been a
Barbers Hill employee for sixteen years.
This move
positions Barbers Hill for a continued emphasis
on giving our students the best academic
experience in this grand state.
Dr. Gayle
Woodall will continue her leadership in the
district as Assistant Superintendent of Student
Services, Professional Development, Federal and
State Programs and Media/Public Relations.

has created a vision for this district in the
area of vertical alignment with our curriculum
and I am excited about being part of the team that
