Financial Aid For Barbers Hill Students

The search for financial assistance to attend college or trade/technical schools is a complex, lengthy process that requires a cooperative effort between the school, the student and the student's parents. The Barbers Hill Independent School District Counseling Center has personnel who provide financial aid counseling pertinent to a student's individual situation and assistance in acquiring and completing the numerous forms that are usually required. These counselors serve as a resource to find individual scholarships and make students in the Barbers Hill lSD aware of their opportunities. Written information in the form of brochures, pamphlets and other literature will be made available to assist in the search for financial aid. The career center is also available to support students in the exploration for funding. Students and parents can work closely with the senior counselor to make the search for college funding both effective and efficient.
