2006 Barbers Hill Seniors:
The Barbers Hill Homecoming Association wishes to congratulate you on your achievements in school! This association is eager for as many students as possible to apply for these scholarships. We have attempted to make the selection process as fair as possible so that every applicant starts out on equal ground. Your own parents and friends have made these scholarships available by their donations and support of our fund-raising activities.
If you have intentions of furthering your education by attending any post-secondary school, college, or training program, you are eligible and urged to apply.
Your application will not be duplicated. The original will remain in the counselors’ office for teachers to review. The staff will meet to vote – by secret ballot – for each recipient. The application will then be destroyed after the selection process. You must have an application on file to be nominated for a scholarship.
To apply, please complete the attached application and return it to your Counseling Office no later than April 18. Take your time and type or print neatly. Recipients will be notified by early May. All scholarships offered to you – local, state, and national – are printed in the commencement program.
Get busy on your application! It just might be your first step toward a better, brighter future.
